This product had no smell and no taste whatsoever. I used several "techniques" to smell. I am no professional and I think I have average sensory ability and I have read up a bit on how to properly smell flavours. As with other flavours, I tried to smell this one labelled Vanillin direct from bottle, by rubbing on pulse point and allowing a bit of time to warm and by placing on the outside of one hand and waving the hand strenuously to try and generate a whiff. Furthermore, I tried detect a flavour by smell many times over several weeks. I was always hopeful that my sense of smell had failed me on previous attempts and wholly expected to have been restored in the latest "go-round." I was disappointed time and again.
